in the beginging

Off to a slow start, building this has taken most of the morning and I feel certian it is lacking creative design. Hopefully I will live and learn in the land of blogs and improve the content and appearance of the page. Enough of that, I am here for stitching talk. My current large project is "I sigh not for Beauty" by C Street Designs. I would say I am about 75% towards the goal of a lovely sampler to hang on the wall above my master bed. The space has been void for far to long. (we are talking years here folks). Like most I have an ever so slight obsession with smalls. I have several of those dreaded but oh so lovely needlecase sets and etuis in progress as well. Gingerbread Tree Etui by the Victoria Sampler from my visit to the Enfield Shaker Museum this past October. Thea was a delightful instructer and I am looking forward to a return retreat this fall. Check out the  site at stitchingretreat.com. Marie and Nataly were wonderful hostess for the weekend event. This has taken enough of my stitching time for today and I still have to figure out how to add those blog links
